We are looking for individuals who enjoy creating & showcasing their craft, have a passion for hosting guests and enjoy being a part of helping them experience our quality service.  Our Bartenders exhibit speed behind the bar paired with wine knowledge and a specific intimacy with the Teatro Group wine and beverage menus. Your enthusiasm, product knowledge and ability to calmly relate to both guests and staff will be a strong foundation for an exceptional dining experience.

Working with us,  you will  enjoy a team that is focused on hospitality and service and want to have fun while earning some money.Our bartenders tend to our guests at our incredible 50 ft zinc bar within the intimate bustle of a true brasserie. Full time and part time hours available.  

What you will do as a bartender

  • Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails and other drinks.
  • Wash glassware and utensils after each use.
  • Collect payment and operate POS.
  • Take orders and serve food to guests seated at the bar.
  • Fill drink orders placed by servers for guests to be served.
  • Check identification of guests to ensure they meet minimum drinking age
  • Remain compliant with AGLC regulations.
  • Clean up after guests and clean work area.
  • Order and maintain liquor and bar supplies.
  • Arrange bottles and glasses to make attractive displays.
  • Serve customers in a friendly and helpful manner.
  • Handle and move objects, such as glasses and bottles, using hands and arms.
  • Monitor and maintain an inventory of supplies.
  • Mix ingredients according to drink recipes.
  • Perform physical activities such as lifting and stooping.
  • Refusing service, arranging a taxi or even calling the police if necessary.
  • Ensure that customers are correctly charged, present the bill and take payment from the customer, in accordance with the procedures of the establishment.
  • At all times to be aware of and exhibit excellent customer service, assisting the guest in any way which does not adversely affect other customers.
  • Maintain a professional appearance, demeanor, and attitude at all times
  • Perform both opening and closing duties

What we are looking for

  • High School Diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent preferred
  • Minimum of two years of bartending experience
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Ability to make excellent sales to achieve performance in alignment with organizational goals and objectives
  • Excellent customer service skills, interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
  • Motivated and creative team player
  • Ability to build and maintain lasting relationships with customers
  • Excellent listening skills
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-motivated with high energy and an engaging level of enthusiasm
  • Ability to perform basic calculations and mathematical figures
  • Ability to work individually and as a part of a team
  • High level of integrity and work ethic
  • Ability to multitask 
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends and holidays
  • This position will spend 100% of the time standing.
  • Must be able to transport up to 50 pounds on occasion and up to 35 pounds regularly.
  • Must be able to hear well in a loud environment in order to respond to guest needs.
